Stormy Weather!

Do non-knitters enjoy the elements the way that we do? The weather has turned here in California and we are having high wind storms. For me, that means WOOL weather.

I feel like throwing a party in appreciation! I wonder of regular people get excited about the rain and wind the way I do. We had part of the tree fall in the front yard and all I can think about is wearing my favorite Chunky Alpaca hat! Fortunately, no one was hurt and our cars were parked on the other side of that tree :) I'm watching the fence now and wondering WHEN it will fall down. Not if...

The only downside I can think of is that having our first rain of the season be this hard will probably cause problems for drivers and our power was out HALF of the day. I need to stick to a simple pattern, light candles everywhere and get some of those light up knitting needles :)
