I am making knitted and crocheted socks for my grand-daughters for Christmas. I taught myself to knit 2 socks at the same time from a book I purchased. This is done by using 2 circular needles .Its great, because when you finish, there are both socks done at once. I am also buying each girl clear clogs. Everyone can see their cool socks! My friend and I done this and I get compliments every time I wear them. There are so many cute sock patterns out there!

Knitpicks has reasonably priced sock yarn and beautiful colors; fingering weight yarns run from $2.99 for 231 yards, enough for one sock,

What yarns do use for socks? I've gotten a couple of sock pattern books, but all the yarns I seem to find are either too big or too expensive. There's a sock yarn that I would dearly love to try, but it runs $6.97 per tiny skein at Ben Frankin.

I will look up the name of the shop where I ordered mine and post it. I have a pair , my friend Terry turned me on to them. We both crochet and I knit so we like to show off our socks! LOL

I don't know why the links didn't show up. Just google clear clogs or sloggers and you will find them, sorry this forum doesn't support links.I just may not know how to work it here yet.Newbie still.

Here is a place on the internet but I have seen them in local knit shops and once even at Academy. They were on clearance though. They come in kids, women's and mens sizes.
The yarn barn has them also and boots too here I hope it doesn't brake up this URL it is long, if it does, copy and paste it in google browser.
Here is another site:
You can find tons of them on the web.

Where did you find clear clogs? Do they make them for adults, too?

Don't I know it! I have 5 sock books, and a severe case of SSS (second sock syndrome!) Between the socks I go for either lace scarves or using telephone pole needles and bulky yarns! I try to knit every day, but if I knit too long my hands and arms cramp and I have to stop :-[

I love the clear boots and clogs to show off these pretty socks. I sure hope they love them as we do knitting them.
