New Year, New Resolutions!

Well, this year I've been making a point of capturing my projects on film and sharing them, and I am liking the results. Because I make so little for myself I've always felt like I'm not a very productive knitter. And I love the process, but I am really into the end result. I guess I did OK this year and I've even kept a few of the items I've made. I made several baby sweaters, 4 pairs of socks and one large, one medium and one small blanket. That along with some other assorted items, not bad.

This year, I am definitely going to make more stuff for myself. I am in a knitting group and I'm embarrassed to show up wearing store bought scarves and sweaters! I am planning a green leafy scarf, some stuffed hearts for decorations, some awesome NY Yankees socks. However, I want to make socks for my husband and sweaters for my kids. Should be another interesting year!

As a crocheter and a knitter, I seem to be making a million things for everyone else, but never me. So far all I have made for myself in the past year is a cowl! Right now I am working on a hoodie for my son, he loves that I can personalize them. I hope you are able to keep your resolution of capturing projects and sharing them. I promised that to myself also, so far, so good....lol
