As much as I love the entrelac patterned scarf I'm working on, I am hating the lacy socks.  Ugh!  First of all, I hate the cast on, I like toe up socks and I usually use a figure eight cast on.  This is a Tunisian cast on.  Whereas I appreciate their struggle for democracy, I do not like their cast on.  Too tight.  Too hard.  The pattern itself has errors.  If the last round requires a YO on the last stitch and the next round requires a YO as the first stitch,  There's going to be a ginourmous h*** in that spot.  Ugh.  I am soldiering on.  I finished one sock.  I am determined to finish the other!  At least I love the color, they're green!

I hear ya Amy! I usually have socks going as well as a larger project for hand relief, they do get weary. So they are in the wash now. I'll block them, and I should have them up by tomorrow. I am working on much plainer socks for my husband. Plainer, but bigger!

Can't wait to see a photo of the finished product.  For me the tiny needles needed to knit socks tend to hurt my hands and it feels like they take forever to finish.  I type a lot for work and have trouble w/ my hands when I get too busy, so I have decided socks aren't for me.  oh, well...
