Thank you, so much, for your offer of help. Sometimes I come across terms in my knitting instructions that I have to look up. But if I work at it long enough, I figure them out. I appreciate knowing there will be someone I can ask questions to. Thanks again.

Hi knitwit (Mary) ... sorry it has taken me sooooo very long to respond to your answers. My PC died not long
after I started in this group ... my hubby recently built me a new one. I had limited access to his, he uses his
for his job, as well as play. Since it was a VIRUS that killed my PC, we were both reluctant for me to go any-
where on line .. .not knowing WHERE I may have gotten it! FINALLY, I now have my own and am trying to play
catch up with all my mail and groups, etc. Are you the same Mary/Knitwit that I met before Christmas at the knitter merchantile??? She & I decided that I/we had actually chatted through this group!!! Amazing.
Well, I haven't made ANY PROGRESS with seaming/finishing any garments ... I now have almost 4 to put together ... am thinking of taking a private class at one of the 2 shops that I go to. I do have the book you re-
commended by Wiseman; I just haven't had time to use it! I made a ton of knitted gifts for Chrismas and am now working on knitted gifts for my son(s) for their birthday, my mom and my cousin. Hopefully, after that I can get back to my own stuff!!! No, I really love making things for people and I do do some charity knitting, preemies mostly. Aslo, I HAVE MADE some scarves as gifts from ALPACA!!! Wow! It is absolutely awesome to work with. I have not however, made a garment. WHERE, what group can I find the Knit Chicks? I would
love to read what they have to say about alpaca. I even got to see some alpacas during our travels last summer! They are so homely ... that they are cute! I just love their eyes ... it's like they can see right into you!

Anyway, got lots to do today ... my house is suffering from all the knitting I have been doing and sewing too.
Hope to hear from you! Again, sorry for the absence.

So, have you even had 100% Alpaca STRETCH on you? I have
heard that once it stretches ... it doesn't retain it's original shape?
I LOVE ALPACA! I am considering purchasing some that I found
at a decent price, but after hearing this ... I am more than reluctant to try it. I heard that same thing about 100% Bamboo,
another ... have you had any experience with this one?

I would really apreciate your comments!

By the way ... I love your page, your dog is SO CUTE! Our names are close ... mine is Knuttyknitter!

I haven't done much on my page ... or on my Ravelry. I don't
have pics of the things that I have done. A lot of what I have done
is STILL waiting to be pieced together! LOL! I need to learn so
much more!

PLEASE, ANY AND ALL COMMENTS ARE WELCOME!

I have been teaching beginning and intermediate knitting classes for three years and have acquired quite a bit of knowledge on the subject of knitting. Also, after passing level one master knitting and in the process of doing level two, I can tell you it takes a lot of skill and knowledge to pass them. If you have problems with your knitting, I may be able to help.
