- About Me:
- I'm a life-long crafter, part of a very "crafty" family. I do all sorts of needlework and have crocheted all my life, but have just gotten into knitting, partially because I discovered the Continental style. It seems to fit my hands better.
- Favorite Yarn:
- I'm allergic to wool, so it limits my choices; I do better with mohair, cashmere, alpaca, etc, but still have to be careful about blends. So cotton, silk, and bamboo yarns are my favourites, and I'm still experimenting. Paton's Bamboo-silk and the Pima-silk blends are leading the pack at the moment.
- Favorite Knitting Project:
- Even though I'm a beginning knitter, I seem to be more adept at lace than heavier yarns. I have no logical explanation for this, unless it's just years of needlework.
