I wanted to knit a pair of socks for my sister-in-law, but learned that she is alergic to Wool. Is there a good quality sock yarn that is not wool and also doesn't cost alot out there?? Any help…Continue

Thanks for the heads up on the bamboo sock yarn. I went into that site & ordered some. A knitter can't have to much sock yarn ;-)

Cascade Fixation is a great cotton yarn. I have knit a lot of socks from that yarn. It is $3. to $5. a ball. It take a ball for ea. sock. I have found it online and also at LYS's.
