Hi Laura, Sounds like your ready to get started. Which book or directions do you have? I may have the same book and can help guide you through the steps. The first thing I would do is to mark the loom using a permanent marker. I mark everyother peg with a dot on top. This helps me to know whether it is a knit or pearl peg. Then I begin at the securing peg (on the side) and count 12 pegs to the left and make a small mark on the loom just under the 12th peg. I will take pictures of these and post them. Next, I e-wrap the loom. Let me know if this helps. Evelyn
