"I just finished spinning some very soft baby alpaca (cria). Oh my it was soft spinning and is so soft as a yarn. I need to spin at least one more skein (maybe 2), what a sacrafice I'll have to make to spin more of this soft stuff ;P."

My favorite yarn is....

The favorite yarn that I've knit with is an Alpaca yarn by Andean Yarns a DK / 8 ply. It's the only alpaca I've knit with but it was love at first touch. I made a comfort shawl for my ex mother-in-law when my ex passed away. The softness of the Alpaca was very comforting to me as well as I had just lost my job so it served duel purposes in comforting.See More
