Hi Kathy,
Welcome to the wonderful world of fibre. The yarns you saw on my site are pretty much all spun by me. I started serious knitting, couldn't see what I wanted and before I knew it I was spinning my own. I do have an Etsy shop if you would like to have a look. (I really spin more than I could EVER knit!)
In the mean time, if you are getting bored of scarves, why not try socks? www.knitty.com have a fabulous collection of amazing patterns and they are all free....! Alpaca Sock yarn is pretty darned fab for toes and it's a small enough project that whilst you practice, you can keep the costs down...
Are you a member of Ravelry yet? You can find me there as Yarnspider1.
