I'm a 44 year old single lady who just started knitting and cannot put the knitting needles down!!! My new "love" in my lift I call this hobby!! I have only been knitting for 3 months now and have made scarf after scarf.......I hope to progress by taking a few Intermediate lessons, so that one day I can knit my own sweaters!! I am a sweater buff..love beautiful sweaters but not the price!

Sensations....cabitti....as of right now. Not much experience with may as of yet

Myself, I rarely use patterns and refer to Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitting Without Tears.

(I really spin more than I could EVER knit!)
In the mean time, if you are getting bored of scarves, why not try socks? www.knitty.com have a fabulous collection of amazing patterns and they are all free....! Alpaca Sock yarn is pretty darned fab for toes and it's a small enough project that whilst you practice, you can keep the costs down...
