I enjoy knitting all year long! I have air conditioning so knitting warm shawls, scarves, afghans. I also like knitting small items when I am out and about such as socks, hats, fingerless gloves because these are light weight and portable.

About Me:
I am married and live in South Euclid, Ohio
I love to knit and crochet. I have been knitting and crocheting since I was 14 years old. Both knitting and crocheting is very relaxing and great therapy. I enjoy working on all kinds of projects. When I go to a yarn shop I am like "a kid in a candy store". I am interested in learning new techniques such as entrelac knitting and socks. Knitted tons of baby clothes, and enjoy knitting and crocheting for adults. My projects include afghans, lots of sweaters, dog sweaters, pullover vests...etc.
Favorite Yarn:
Cascade, Pattons, Bernet and other brand name yarn. Depending what I am knitting and crochet.
Favorite Knitting Project:

Knitpics

Hello Everyone!

Can anyone tell me what makes those harmony double pointed needles from knitpics to special? Are they worth getting? I owe so many pairs of double pointed knitting needles in a wide-range of sizes -- some are bamboo and some in aluminum. What is a magic loop?

Favorite Yarn

My favorite yarn is Patons because it is afordable and there is so much variety. I also like Bernet yarn. But overall most of the yarn I knit with I really like. My least favorite is "Simply Soft" by Caron. I like the Sugar n Cream for my dishcloth knitting. I would like to try the knitpics .....Did any one have any experience with knitpics?

I have never done entralac but I know that Interweave Knits magazine has done spreads on how to do it. If I can remember the exact issue, I'll let you know. I'll also keep an eye out for it. There are A LOT of sock tutorials online. Were you looking to knit them traditionally or from the toe upwards so that you can try them on as you go?

I love knitting hats! I try to knit one every cold season. I haven't started one yet for this year but it is still 100 degrees here in California.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been knitting only but I found a really cute pattern for a newsboy hat that involves crocheting the brim so I will be attempting that now too. www.Favecrafts.com
