Knitting Socks
Right now, I'm knitting ankle socks using Serenity Sock Weight Yarn (50% superwash wool/25% Bamboo/25% Nylon). The color is aquamarine art. 50grams for each sock.Size 2 DPNI've finished one sock and am working on the foot of the 2nd sock. The pattern is simple but a little tight. You might try using a larger needle for the foot of the sock. I have to do that for some yarns.

If you use cold water, you can wash in machine, but air dry.

I made some wonderful socks witht he stretchy yarn from Knit picks. I love them. They spontaneously made a little ruffle at the top. No laddering.

I'll bet that a gentle cycle would be fine because the fibre is 25% nylon.

I'm wondering if these absolutely HAVE to be hand washed or if washing them on the gentle cycle will be sufficient? I have no problem with air drying but hand washing is not something I will do. I usually am better at reading the washing…

I am using Paton's stretch cotton right now...it is working up beautifully with no ladders.I'm using two circular needles, size 1's with 74 stitches.
