I am checking out the free knitting patterns on here and i am so confused. The instructions i have done so far for the hat and half of the scarf were so much easier. The hat looks fairly easy, but then i read the instructions and i am completely lost. Any suggestions? I have only used basic knitting needles so have no idea what this stuff is. - Hello, I am a 34 yr old happily married Christian Mom of two beautiful, but stubborn children. My son is 14 yrs old and my daughter is 2 yrs old.
We live beautiful northern NH with a view of Mount Washington in our back yard.
I have a jewelry business. I do local sales and fairs and also sell online. I design and make by hand Sterling Silver and Swarovski crystal jewelry. I also use natural stone, glass and other beads in my work. I have done several custom pieces. Check out my site to see some of my pieces.

- The kind at yard sales etc for 5 bucks a bag/box. I have also gotten a bunch from this site www.freecycle.org for free.

- So far my favorite is the hat that I made about a yr ago while learning how to knit from a kit I bought from a local craft store going out of business for $5 dollars. I am half way through the scarf that goes with it.
