I haven't had a chance to welcome you formally, so...
Hi, Becky! Welcome to KnitIdeas.com. I am so glad that you joined our community. This is a great place to share ideas and post projects. I can't wait to see some of yours!
I learned how to knit in 4-H when I was 7 years old, and haven't stopped. I am married to a great man who understands my passion for knitting (or I hope he does!) and we have three grown kids. I used to do craft shows with my sister-in-law, selling knitted items that my mom, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, and I made. We called our little endeavor "A Close Knit Family." My sister-in-law got sick so we don't sell at craft shows anymore, but we still do a lot of knitting.
Favorite Yarn:
I love it all! The textures, colors, weights, everything about it. I don't have a "stash". I have a yarn room. I guess you could say yarn is an addiction.
Favorite Knitting Project:
There are two different afghans that I have made that are my favorites, and I gave them both as gifts. One was the American flag, complete with 50 crochet stars, that were sewn on by hand. The other was a southwestern pattern that turned out beautiful.
