"Well, there are a LOT easier ways to make two socks at once than the one I tried. It was a very old way, and WAY too complicated for me! I'm finishing them a different way!"

- Love your idea of green knitting...I remember my Grandma making rag rugs out of all outgrown and slightly worn out clothing, sheets, etc. I still have some of her rugs, They last forever... She crocheted them and they last forever
