I haven't seen this, but if you have trouble with charts, may I recommend that you have them enlarged then w/highlighter pen/pencil color in the different symbols...

try your local library if it has a craft book section. most of the older knitting books have written instructions instead of charts and my library has some in bigger print also.

Mine would have to be The Ultimate Sourcebook of Knitting & Crochet Stitches by reader's digest. It has 100's of different stitches plus instuctions. I just love it.

I'm looking for a stich pattern called checkered cable

I'm looking for a stich pattern called checkered cable. I forgot to save the site I saw it on. It's a checker board with every other square having 2 calbes in it. If anyone knows a site where I can get the instructions could U send me a link? I perfer words to charts, I have bad eyesight and have trouble reading charts.
