What are you having trouble with? Getting the points in or the project gathering together.

For the points make sure that the top point has 3 single crochets in it, and then crochet the correct number of stitches to the bottom point, skip to sc and then do the same number of single crochets up the other side, then it is 3 single crochets in the center stitch of the 3 single crochets. If the project seems to gather together use a larger hook.

ounting is very important and making sure you know where you left off is also very helpful. If I need to stop during a ripple pattern I write these things down and stop at the end of a row.
Hi Patricia I love doing the ripple design. I cast on 209 sts do 9 sc up 3sc in next 9sc down skip 2sts and repeat across. From second row on I always work back loop of sts. Always skip next to end st to make it even. There are many ripple patterns out there but this is the one I found I like the best because of the point being high up. Use any hook that is comfortable to you. I use h or I for worsted.I find the ripple to be a slower afghan but very pretty. I like using varigated yarns but also very pretty is 3 colors from dark to light. This is not my original pattern but I am willing to answer anyone who has questions about it. I am home bound so do a lot of knitting and crocheting and am willing to help ( if I can ) with any problems or questions any one has. If anyone wants to write me my email is ndufield@gmail.com. I am looking for friends pals etc who likes knitting & crocheting as much as I do. I also have done a lot of charity knitting but had to slow down because of being able to buy yarn. I just had my 6 great grandchild a girl Jaslene my grandaughter brought her up to visit at 5 days old. Lots of hair. 7lbs 12oz and so beautiful. If anyone has any baby girl patterns easy simple as I am not a fancy complicatedknit or crocheter please let me know. Well this is it for now. Everyone stay happy healthy and no matter what health problems don't give up.
my ripple pattern and most ive found are sets of 6 double crochets in sets of 2 in the same h*** for the up part, than sets of double crochet decreses, it bunche up in spots, but once i blocked the blanket it laid flat and had the wavy light ripple pattern. most ripple patterns are sets that make the up and down parts. just a matter of getting your gauge correct when i did my blanket i had to correct my gauge by going up.
