i just started crocheting and now im stuck getting another row started after i finish off my foundation chain. what do i do?

A pair of shelf frogs. My granddaughter loves frogs. Just finished shower gifts for baby girl, due in March. I crocheted 2 blankets, 2 hats, 2 sets of booties, a cocoon, 4 headbands. It was fun.

In the last 2 months, I have crocheted 6 baby blankets, 4 are my own designs, with bonnets and booties to match. Right now, I have been searching for a simple, lacy type crocheted shall for one of my granddaughters on Prom night. Most of what I have found are meant for older ladies, like me. I was looking for something younger looking and pretty as well. I don't want squares, just something all in one piece.

Comment by Shirley Lasley on February 21, 2010 at 7:51am: To kate smith: To start another row, single crochet in2nd chain from hook. Then make single crochets(sc) in each chain across to end. Turn at the end of that row, chain 1, make sc in each sc across to the end of that row. Hope this helps.
