Here's a question to ponder....

What do you do with your hands between large or complicated projects?

For me, after finishing a major project, or a tedious one for that matter, my hands become restless. I don't want to plunge into something w/ tiny needles i.e. another sock, nor do I wish to start a sweater w/ all it's complications.

How about something interesting yet non complicated.....

care to elaborate?

there is always a nice hat knit in the round using ML or a nice rib knit scarf to keep the hands busy during football season.
I am like Loretta! I dig into a simple hat patter that I keep in my head. I can just whip them out and they are so refreshing after a project that requires attention to detail!
Christmas ornaments? If you celebrate Christmas, ornaments are fun and easy! I looked up a very basic pattern for knitting a ball shape, then spruced it up with christmas colors and finished the end result by stuffing it with cotton balls (styro-foam is an option also) and sewing some sequins in for a little extra jazz. Once you've made one (took me 30 minutes) each one after that works up even easier! I like doing these because I can use up scrap yarn that's been sitting around.
