I haven't tried it either, but I think I saw video on YouTube about cabling on looms. I know I read somewhere about using take-out chopsticks for cabling needles if you don't own any. Not sure why I thought of that, but it might come in handy - you never know. Have a great day!

I am currently trying to make what is called a PI sweater... assuming that my young kids don't destroy it again.

I haven't gotten up the strength to try cables. Somehow with summer here and the kids are home I just don't get the "me" time I need to concentrate on learning a new stitch. So I am making a prayer shaw on my yellow loom. I will try the cable when fall rolls around. ;} Thanks for the pattern advice. I did find a good one that I am going to try. Evelyn

i have tried to do cables on my knifty knitter but it doesnt seem to work! i have a knitting rake with close pins and it works great but i just cant seem to make cables on the round or long loom knifty knitters!!! can anyone do this? am i missing something?

Hi April,   Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try cables.  I can do them on regular needles but haven't had the chance to try on my knitting loom.  Seems I remember a you tube video on them,  you might could check that out for help.  Happy knitting!

i also so one on youtube but when i did it, it turned out so wrong!!! ha ha! i must have done something wrong or used the wrong yarn, i will have to try again! thanks for your post!
