I finished up the Wilderness Girls Purse, but of course my camera isn't working so hot today. On to a knitted sweater that I've been working off and on for months.

Hello all, it's been a long time for me too!! Nice to meet new people!! I am currently just finishing up a Nordic style sweater that I started back in August and haven't had the chance to work on since September! Will post pics as soon as I am finished.....

Wow - it's been a while since I've been on here and I'm sorry. I've done so many projects since the last time I was on here, but this week I'm concentrating on finishing up a little "Wilderness Girl" Purse. I put the lining in yesterday, now to close it up and put on the handle.

I knit on Knifty Knitter looms and absolutely love them. I use many textured and soft yarns. Heaven is the yarn aisle at the craft store for me.

I have an online shop with my creations at www.SherryCreates.ShopHandmade.com .

Hi everybody! Nice to meet you all. I've been crocheting for 30+ yrs and knitting for around 10. I love both equally. Like Kathy one of the things I'm working on is a crocheted tree skirt using a worsted weight christmas yarn. It's ecru with gold thread. I just have to finish the trim. But of course like most I have a bunch of other things going too. lol(scarfs, shawl, attempting socks, etc.) So I need to pull out that skirt and finish it up. My daughter bought me a hand spindle so I could learn to spin my own yarn. So that's next on the agenda.

Hi Ladies...Hope your all having a nice Sunday! I decided to pick up my crochet hook today and make a tree skirt,I have almost completed it. I have had the yarn for years(made a few other skirts from same yarn),it is a beautiful worsted weight victorian yarn with sparkling threads. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore,I've only been able to find very thin bright colored Christmas yarns,if anyone knows where to get a better quality & weight I'd love to know. The yarn I'm using I bought in 1990 its Caron Christmas Knitting Yarn, you all would love it for holiday projects. I will post a picture when I finish if anyone would like to see it or get the pattern.

I know how to knit, and would like to know how to crochet... just can't seem to get the hang of it. Right now, I'm working on some Christmas Gifts, but I think after Christmas I will try to learn crochet - I'd also like to try the Kniffty knitting looms...

Hello everyone, I just finished crocheting an afghan for my daughter in law for Christmas in Green & Gold (Go USF Bulls) I and am now knitting fingerless gloves for a co worker who is always cold. Then I'm going to try my first pair of socks. The gloves were my first attempt with double pointed needles.

So I just finished this really cute hat and scarf for my daughter, and a red and white striped fun fur hat. I also just started an afghan, and today will be crosstitching. hope everyone is well.

Hi, I'm Evelyn. I love the green jute basket. I've never worked with jute - it looks wonderful. Right now I am finishing up a pair of slipper socks I'm knitting on my loom and looking for that just right blue yarn to begin a prayer shaw for the winter. I made a skirt and need a warm topper to go with it. Does anyone out there besides me have a hard time finding the right shade of a yarn when you need it? I'm sure if I wasn't looking for it I could find it easily. I love crafting. . . it is my daily "get away."
