Warm weather knits

As the weather warms up, I think about the half knit wool vest that I am not going to knit until the weather cools again. I love knitting toys when the weather is warm because they are so small that I don't have a PILE of knitting in my lap (especially warm when it's wool!)

What other projects do you guys knit when it starts to get hot?

summer tops, mittens , scarves & socks

I also knit cotton items, like scarves and tank tops and baby clothes and items. Washcloths and dish rags are also nice gifts to knit to send with natural soaps. I have also have knitted place mats. Lots of cotton knitting.

I have a tank top picked out for my 10 year old for this upcoming warm season! I'm actually really excited about it because she is really fun to knit for. I haven't picked out the yarn yet so I'll have to see what seems light enough that she can wear it in the spring and summer months.
