Support the Troops - Operation Knitted Gator!
Hello Knitters! I have a project that is very dear to my heart and it was advised by Jim from AlpacaDirect to post here for all of you to hear about it.
Back in March I decided that I wanted a knitted neck gator for each soldier in my hubby's unit for when the winter months while deployed to Afghanistan but knew I would need help. I started with my LYS and Ravelry. It has exploded into something rather huge. We have already hit the goal almost 2 months early so we are extending the goal to the rest of the Battalion. This is a large goal but with all the wonderful knitters out there I think we can do it.

Thanks for posting this project - it's a great idea and a great cause! . We have the Cascade approved colors on special pricing and are ordering more to keep things going!

Just ordered two balls of the cascade yarn to knit up a few. They are not the exact color specified but they are close.

Got that backwards.... It is supported to default to color #874 if you can’t find #875
