New to the group
Hi all! I'm a knitter in Austin, TX. Have been knitting off and on for about 10 years, but have only been knitting "seriously" for about 6 months. My mother is a very skilled knitter, so I call her frequently for advice and fixes.
I have absolutely no regard for the difficulty of patterns. If I like it, I try it. Sometimes I make it, sometimes I throw it down in frustration. :) I try to knit every day, even if just for a few minutes. I would say it's cheaper than therapy, but we all know how much you can spend on yarn...

Hi, Ehlane! Welcome to our group. I love that you throw yourself into projects without worrying about difficulty. What a great way to learn a whole lot of new knitting skills! It is wonderful that your mother is a resource for you as well. My mom isn't a knitter so I have to use the internet!
I've been knitting for about 4 years so if you need anything AND I've tried it, I'd be happy to help! Have fun knitting!
