Was the checkerboard a solid color?

That sounds like a very interesting pattern! I'll have to follow up on this discussion and see if anyone found it to share the link to the site for you! This particular pattern to be used for what? scarf? afghan??

Thanks for giving her the whole link! I hadn't thought about the link not working properly but there is always the possibility! I hope it is the pattern she is looking for. it was my best guess when I went hunting!

Was glad to be of some help. I thought by clicking on the "link" icon - it might work - but didn't want to trust it 100 percent. :)

At the same link I've sent earlier - there was a list of other pattens on the far right side. There is one for Checkerboard Stitch Scarf - http://www.ehow.com/how_5080236_knit-checkerboard-scarf.html This one DID have a picture for it. Perhaps this would help??
