Crochet anyone?

I joined because I thought it would be easy to find crochet fans like me. not so. Someone please tell me how to navigate to crocheet projects and discussion threads.... or should I just close the account?

What do you need to know about yarn? The needle I use most is the 'H". It is most comfortable in my hand.

Make sure the yarn is a good quality. Try a chunky. Nothing like eyelet. That would tangle. Or better yet, cotton is smooth to work with and start with something small like a dishcloth. They are quick and easy.

If youre just starting it makes sense to get something that isnt too expensive, like a skein of Redheart. For me, an H hook would be too small for a chunky yarn.

I'm just now learning to crochet. I have make one hat and a flower to tack on it. I hope to learn lots more. Am working on a sing. crochet scarf now.

im a little of both, but here you need to say its for crochet because its all mixed together, the crochet people help crochet and knit help knit. I try to help both but im a newbie at crochet where im seasoned at knitting. you just need to ask and you will recieve their is no need to close the account

I'm a seasoned knitter also. Just learning how to crochet also. I have friends that do both, so I can always ask them to help if I get in a bind. I love yarns & my craft room show's it LOL.

I was trying to learn how to crochet,have quite a bit of yarn,then i find out i have artheritis,its very painful.whoever can use yarn let me know i ll mail it to you,all you have to pay is postage,also whoever is good crocheting i have a beautiful pattern for a hat i likke to have done,of course i will reemburse you for it.thank you.
