Circular needles curling up

I find that cheap circular needles are bad to curl up. I broke down and spent $$$  for Susan Bates Velocity needles. They really do increase my speed. I use them exclusively now. The cable is so flexible one can knit just a few stitches in the round. In other words you don't have to stretch the item around the whole cable. For me there will be no more DPN with stitches falling off!
